Wedding Day

At church today, April sung “He is exalted” by Twila Paris. Earlier in the week, Susan mentioned another song she heard by Twila Paris. I asked the Lord, “How come I can go for 15 years and suddenly run into her songs twice in one week?” I heard, “This is part of the ‘restoration of all things'”. God is drawing all the threads together from throughout time. In times of visitation, people experience touches of His glory, and while full of truth, in the time they were released, they were a foreshadowing of what is to come. He is now releasing an unprecedented level of revelation that takes things we know and unpacks them into depths of revelation that is only now been opened up to our spirits. Visitations have happened all along, but now, habitation is coming down – that place we have been crying out for, that God would come down and stay with us. This is ALL about Him, as He accelerates us into this age of kingdom authority, when we know exactly who He is and who we are. Many have sensed the urgency for the bride to prepare, and there has been preparation, but this is different – it feels like the dawn of the wedding day. How different is that day than all the days leading up to it? On that day, everything comes together and builds on the preparation that has gone before. Get ready get ready! It is here. The habitation of our Lord is upon us. Revelation is increasing. Presence is increasing. Joy is increasing. The time is not coming … It is here!

The tension between spirit and soul

While worshipping last night, I had a revelation about the soul and the spirit.

Why do we find it difficult to accept or “process” things that God shows us? It’s not that we don’t believe the bible, it’s that many times (or much of the time) we don’t perceive or experience it. There is a disconnect that sets up a tension in our walk. Part of the problem is that our spirits are understanding truth, but our minds are believing the lies that the devil speaks to us.

Our minds are used to receiving and processing information that is received through the body and soul. It does not know how to process information received by our spirit. Compared to our body and soul, our spirit is atrophied. We need to have the Word of God divide, or separate our spirit and soul (Heb 4:12), and put our spirit in control of our body and soul, rather than having our natural understanding (soul) in control. Once that happens our spirit will grow, and revelation will flow, since it is through our spirit that we receive revelation.

Moving from believing to knowing

Lately, the Lord has been re-revealing things to me. Scriptures I thought I knew, all of a sudden take on a depth of meaning I had never seen before. Things I knew about are getting expanded and are being driven from my head into my heart. Once they are there, they seem to move from “something I believe”, to “something I know.”

While I was walking the dog and hanging out with the Lord (dog walking is one of my favourite times to get into His presence), I said, “Lord, how is it when I ask for a word for someone, You always give a word of encouragement or a word intended to breathe life into them?” Immediately, the Lord said, ” That’s because I am showing you my heart for that person and the destiny that is on their life, no matter who they are or how they are living. The words I release give life, and can accomplish what seems to be impossible to you.”

I think I knew this already, but when the Lord spoke this to me, it was like an explosion of revelation going through me. All of a sudden, I understood it with a clarity I had not experienced before. The Lord told me that because I ask for a word to give to someone, He gives it … and it is always positive. His thoughts about each of us outnumber the grains of sand on the beach. There is a never ending depth of encouragement and love that He wants to pour out. When He knows our heart is to bless and build up, He delights in releasing His dreams for a person – words that call them into their destiny. These words are like snowballs. When they hit, they explode and can cause someone to move forward or change direction. Even if we don’t entirely know what we are doing, a word of encouragement will not cause harm.

He also showed me that at other times, I might be praying for someone (or not), and He drops into my spirit a picture or a word which reveals or unlocks something. This is an entirely different kind of a word, and we need to know how that word is to be used. These kind of words or pictures are like scalpels in the hands of a surgeon. They are sharp and can cut through all kinds of defences and blocks. These don’t work like the destiny words, but are more like releasing, healing or convicting words. It is essential to know how to use them, since without wisdom, they can do great damage. Fortunately, He loves to give us wisdom. When we ask, He will tell us.

The image that came to mind while I was pondering these things was that of the Lord unfolding a person’s life, like a large scroll or map. The person’s destiny was a large area of the map and it was from there that He takes the things He reveals to those who ask with the right heart. Other areas of the map contained experiences, hurts and judgements that had been made. From these areas He could see exactly what was required to release, unblock or heal. He delights to release these to those He has chosen to bring healing to the person. There were several other areas of the scroll that I couldn’t see.

The main things the Lord showed me from this vision:

  • There is nothing to fear when we ask for a word from the Lord. He is always for us, never against us. This is also how we can recognize that a word is from the Lord. He always builds up, never tears down.
  • The words He gives are 100% true and effective for the purpose He intends. He is solely responsible for the content.
  • We can rest knowing that we only have to release what He tells us – nothing more, nothing less. We are only responsible for the delivery.

A Gathering of Eagles

Last week, I was on the train going to Toronto, chatting with a friend about the Lord and all the amazing things He is revealing to us. As I glanced out of the window, I had a very clear vision of several eagles landing in a field. As soon as I saw it, I heard, “The eagles are gathering”.  A council of eagles?

Seeing the Courts of the King

Stephen McKie, Courts of Heaven – at the Justin Abraham meetings

After Stephen had finished his message, he asked us to step into the courts of heaven.

At first, I didn’t see anything … Just waiting … Then I recalled how a month ago during Sozo ministry (Bethel’s healing ministry), I had visited the court of heaven 4 times. I realized that I was in the same place. I recalled that at that time, those ministering to me had collected up all the accusations of the enemy, and they had led me through releasing and forgiving everyone connected with the issue I was receiving ministry for. We then presented the case to the advocate, Jesus, and asked him to present the case to the Father. I was asked to look to the bench and wait for the Father’s judgement. Each time, I heard the Father say “not guilty” along with other stuff. While there, the only places I saw were where Jesus was standing and where the bench was.

Today, while Stephen was ministering, I realized I was perceiving (not sure seeing is the right word) the same place and also the whole room. It had very high ceilings and had the appearance of a very important place, with dark oak paneling. There were others there but I did not see them. As I looked around, I saw chains of authority hanging over the place where the Father sat. This was a throne, and from it, bubbles were flowing out in all directions. They appeared to be coming out of the ground and spreading out.

I also realized that i had visited the throne room at a Patricia King event where I went into the throne room and was allowed to bring a gift back – a plate. At that time, i felt that I wasn’t really supposed to be there, but the Lord had allowed me to come anyway. This time, I felt God say that this was my destiny, this is where I must come, so I can receive the things He has for me, or the things He has for me to do.

He also said to me: “This is the only place where things are sure. The prophetic is powerful, but not as much as judgements and decrees that are made here. This is where the power of the government of heaven demolishes strongholds. This is where the government of God is established, and you are supposed to be here. “

I thought of the song “There is a place of commanded blessing” It refers to a time when blessing had been commanded, but it has yet to brought into force with full power. It is powerful because it was Jesus who commanded blessing where there is unity, but it hasn’t been brought with full force into the realm of the enemy. It’s like we’ve been operating on quarter power. This place is reserved for the sons and daughters of God. See Psalm 24:3-4.

It was like I saw that prophecies and decrees were available as a result of what had happened previously in heaven. They are all true and powerful and have great effect. I also saw that these things result from decisions made in the courts of heaven, because if they weren’t, they would not have power. I saw that at this time, it is exactly as Stephen was saying. God is revealing the role and place of government, and that we are invited to come there, to Mount Zion, to ask for and receive commands and decrees that will have even more effect than the former prophecies, because they were given to us for us to release on the earth.

I don’t really understand all this yet, but I listened to another teaching on the same subject from Stephen (on the podcast) and realized we have to practice this everyday, by faith. Even if we don’t see it, we can access it by faith, and then eventually we will see. I was privileged to see (darkly) this time, but I want more. I prayed that I could see more clearly, since it difficult for me. As I looked away from the room, I saw a vast expanse heading out to the horizon. We were above the clouds and the sun was bright.

I also learned that Bob or Bonnie Jones had prophesied that God would be releasing a new dispensation – one of apostolic government. This is what Stephen and Justin were releasing this weekend.
